Do I have to be a Christian to live at Amici?
Any person actively seeking Jesus is welcome to live at Amici regardless of denomination, baptismal status, previous church, personal beliefs, or past actions.

What does "amici" mean?
"Amici" means "friends" in Italian. It's pronounced AH-ME-CHEE.

Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Amici due to other resident allergies and liability reasons.

What kind of house rules does Amici have?
Since Amici is open to adults ages 18-28, we are a dry house. This means no alcohol, vaping, smoking, or any other types of recreational drugs. Firearms are not allowed at Amici due to liability reasons. Sexual activity is not allowed at Amici.

What kind of amenities are provided?
Amici has a laundry room with 3 washer and dryer units. The common spaces are furnished with new couches, tables, and 65" flat screens. We also provide twin (or twin XL) mattresses and bed frames. Residents are expected to purchase mattress covers. Triples contain custom built-in bunk beds. Each room also contains a built-in open-frame closet for each resident.

Is there a curfew?
There is no curfew at Amici! Young adult lives are unpredictable. Come and go as you please. That said, we do have quiet hours after 10pm on week days and 12am on weekends. Residents are not allowed on floors of the opposite gender after 11pm.

Can I have friends / family over?
Yes! You may absolutely have friends over so long as they're trustworthy and respectful. Overnight guests of the same gender are allowed with prior approval from the Resident Director.

How much does it cost to live at Amici?
The prices range from $635 - $935 (including utilities) depending on the number of roommates you have. You can choose to live in a single, double, triple, or quad. All prices are listed on the map at the bottom of the "Schedule A Tour" page.

What is the move-in process like?
After you schedule a tour, we will reach out and find a time that works. Once you take the tour, you can choose your favorite room. Then we'll give you the official application. Then we will each sign the lease. Then you can pay the deposit (equal to one months rent not-including utilities). After that, you simply pay for your first month's rent and move in!
