who
needs
community?

Human beings were created to live in community with one another. Today, Millennials and Gen Z report the highest rates of loneliness of any living generation, along with rising levels of anxiety, depression, and suicide. How can this be fixed? The answer is found in the teachings of Jesus Christ—and it’s found in community.
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it." John 1:5 NLT

The Cains and the Bates have worked relentlessly for the last four years to bring Amici to life. Their strong desire to serve the young adults of our community is matched only by their dedication to Jesus Christ. Through their generosity and obedience, they have transformed a run-down church building into a home where young adults can find community, belong, and grow.

Board of Directors and Amici Mentors

Amici's Board of Directors consists of six married couples who feel a strong calling from God to invest in and love young adults in the community. They bring gifts, share resources, and open their doors to the residents for weekly bible studies. The Board meets regularly to pray for Amici and make important decisions.
